Accounting I

Accounting I is a skill level course that is of value to all students pursing a career in business, marketing, and management.  This course is designed to prepare the students for an entry-level position in the accounting/bookkeeping area or to prepare for further training at a post-secondary school.  Students will learn basic accounting cycles, concepts and terminology, and then progress through two concepts, a proprietorship and corporation.  Accounting computers applications are integrated throughout the course.  Practice sets with business papers are used to emphasize actual business records management.
