Accounting I is a skill level course that is of value to all students pursing a career in business, marketing, and management. This course is designed to prepare the students for an entry-level position in the accounting/bookkeeping area or to prepare for further training at a post-secondary school. Students will learn basic accounting cycles, concepts and terminology, and then progress through two concepts, a proprietorship and corporation. Accounting computers applications are integrated throughout the course. Practice sets with business papers are used to emphasize actual business records management.
